Rae presents King Charles III Coronation Medal to Vince Judge

[Listowel, ON] – Matthew Rae, MPP for Perth-Wellington, had the honour of presenting the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal to Listowel resident Vince Judge on the afternoon of August 2, 2025. The presentation took place at the Listowel Agricultural Hall as part of the Listowel 150th Anniversary celebrations.

“Vince has been an active member of our community for a number of years and contributed to countless causes,” MPP Rae said. “It is people like Vince that make our communities stronger and more welcoming. To be one of only 30,000 recipients across all of Canada is truly a testament to Vince’s impact in North Perth, Ontario, and Canada.”

“It was an honour to receive the King Charles III Coronation Medal,” said Vince Judge. “I am extremely humbled as I know there are so many others deserving of this prestigious award. I would like to thank MPP Rae for presenting me with this award, and the community of North Perth for making it possible.”

To be eligible for the King Charles III Coronation Medal one must have made significant contributions to the country, Ontario, region or community, or an achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada, and was alive on May 6, 2023.

Some of Vince’s accomplishments include:

  • Served as a municipal councillor, Reeve, Mayor, and Warden
  • Volunteering on the board of the Listowel-Wingham and Area Family Health Team
  • Volunteering with the Listowel Agricultural Society
  • Assisting with the activities of North Perth Seniors group
